The stainless steel knife gate valve adopts knife gate, which has good shearing effect and is suitable for slurry, powder, fiber and other difficult to control fluids. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The two sealing surfaces of the common mode gate valve form a wedge shape. Wedge angle varies with valve parameters, generally 50 °. When the stainless steel knife gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can only be sealed by the medium pressure, that is, the sealing surface of the gate is pressed by the medium pressure to ensure sealing.
Most gate valves are forced sealed, that is, when the valve is closed, the gate must be pressed on the valve seat with external force to ensure the sealing performance of the sealing surface.
