In the actual production process, it is actually very important to correctly select the pneumatic actuator of the pneumatic valve, because if the actuator is too large, the valve stem may be too large, and if the actuator is too small, it cannot generate enough torque to fully operate the valve.
Generally speaking, the selection of pneumatic actuator needs to consider many factors, such as the service conditions, service temperature, operating frequency, management and differential pressure of the valve, transmission medium (lubrication, drying, mud), etc. In the process of selecting pneumatic actuator, the key points are as follows.
1. Operating thrust: the valve electrical device has two main engine structures: one is the thrust disc, and the other is the thrust disc. The output torque is converted into output thrust through the stem nut in the thrust disc.

2. Operating torque: select the main parameters of the valve electric device, and the output torque of the pneumatic actuator is 1.2~1.5 times of the valve operating torque.
3. Stem diameter For multi rotation rising stem valve: if the large stem diameter allowed by the electric device cannot pass through the valve stem of the valve, the electric valve cannot be assembled. Therefore, the inner diameter of the hollow output shaft of the electrical device must be greater than the outer diameter of the valve stem. For non rising stem valves in some rotary valves and multi rotary valves, although it is not necessary to consider the passage of the valve stem diameter, the valve stem diameter and the size of the keyway should also be fully considered when selecting, so that they can work normally after assembly.
