Characteristics and Application of Flat Gate Valve
1、 Purpose, performance and characteristics
Flat gate valve is a member of gate valve family. Like the wedge gate valve, its main function is to control the on-off of the pipeline, rather than regulating the medium flow in the pipeline. The utility model has the advantages of small fluid resistance, easy opening and closing, short structure length, unrestricted flow direction of pipeline medium, etc. The disadvantage is that the sealing pair has two sealing surfaces, which are complex to process, high in cost, higher than other valves, long in opening and closing time, and easy to cause scratches due to the relative friction of sealing surfaces.
2、 Product structure characteristics
1. The valve seat adopts a floating valve seat structure with shape sealing ring and pre tightening force to make the inlet and outlet of the valve sealed in both directions. The opening and closing torque of the structure is only that of ordinary valves, which is easy to open and close the valve.
2. The valve seat adopts the sealing surface of inlaid or hardfacing stainless steel (or cobalt chromium tungsten alloy), which has the double sealing of metal and metal, and simultaneously removes the gate dirt.
3. For metal to metal sealed valves, grease injection structure is set outside the valve body, and the grease enters the valve sealing surface through the grease injector and valve seat to make the valve reach zero leakage.
4. The gate with the diversion hole valve, whether fully open or fully closed, is always consistent with the sealing surface, protecting the sealing surface from direct flushing of the medium, and extending the service life.
5. When the valve is fully opened, the channel is smooth and straight, the flow resistance coefficient is very small, and there is no pressure loss. The pipeline can be cleaned with a hairball.
6. The valve adopts the packing structure with self sealing ability, without frequent adjustment, opening and opening The sealing is very light and reliable. The stuffing box is equipped with an auxiliary sealing oil injection structure. The sealing performance is absolutely reliable, which truly realizes zero leakage, and solves the problem that the universal valve packing is easy to leak.
7. When the valve is closed, the high pressure in the inner chamber can be removed automatically to ensure safe use.
