Design Features of Single Acting Pneumatic Actuator
Single acting pneumatic actuator is reset by spring, which is generally used in dangerous working conditions, such as conveying combustible gas or liquid. In case of air loss and emergency, the single acting pneumatic actuator can reset automatically to reduce risks. The single acting pneumatic actuator adopts a fork type transmission mechanism, and the output torque can vary with the angle. At the valve opening and closing position, the torque value is large, meeting the valve rules; Secondly, the fork and fork arm are highly overlapped, which greatly saves space and meets the needs of various large rotary valves. With the advantages of safety and explosion protection, it is widely used in power plants, chemical industry, oil refining and other production processes with high safety requirements.
When compressed air enters the middle chamber between the two pistons of the cylinder from the air port, the two pistons are separated to both ends of the cylinder, forcing the springs at both ends to compress. The air in the air chambers at both ends is discharged through the air port. The rack of the two pistons drives the output shaft (gear) to rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise. After the compressed air is changed through the solenoid valve, the two pistons of the cylinder move towards the middle under the elasticity of the spring, and the air in the middle air chamber is discharged from the air outlet. At the same time, the frame of the two pistons synchronously drives the output shaft (gear) to rotate 90 degrees clockwise. The micro angle can be adjusted from both ends. Loosen the nut, turn the adjusting bolt with an Allen wrench to adjust the required angle, and lock the nut.
